Jennifer, Owner & Designer of Something Detailed, recently shared some of the trends she’s seeing in wedding paper and I couldn’t wait to share it with all of you lovely brides.
According to Jennifer, many brides are opting for more casual designs and less formal invitations. Shabby chic and Nashville Vintage/Grit are still popular wedding styles for fall brides, but winter brides are planning more modern affairs.
Lots of deep purples, charcoal gray and navy are dominating invitation colors for the fall, but the traditional black and white theme is still a classic.
Couples are focusing on their guests and making their weddings highly personal by integrating their style in every aspect of the day, like the chevron programs on down below, and guest-centric, like these personalized place cards with a thank you note to each guest.
Follow Something Detailed on Facebook and on their blog for more tips and trends in wedding invitations. Jennifer is always updating their Wedding 101 portfolio if you’d like to see and feel anything in person. I know some of you just read that last sentence and thought feel? Why should I feel an invitation? The simple answer is quality. Paper quality can make a simple invitation go from eh… to WOW. So yes, come to the studio and feel the paper!
Here’s a more formal, boutique style, save the date in black, white and red.
