We’ll I can’t say that we had as productive of a weekend as the hubby and I hoped for. I had thought that I’d be bragging about a fully replaced ceiling this morning but alas our project turned from ceiling to electrical. That’s okay though because we now have 3 light fixtures in places there weren’t fixtures before! Hooray for progress! How about you? Did you get anything finalized with planning this weekend? Enough about me and on with this fabulous real wedding sent over by Stan Dunlap Photography! I love the crisp colors Stan captured and the first look on the over look, so precious!
From Stan: We traveled to Sewanee TN and the University of the South to photograph Samatha and Heath’s May wedding. The weather was awesome, the venue was awesome (there were so many locations to shoot my head was spinning) and the couple was so happy! Samatha and Heath had decided that they wanted to meet each other, prior to beginning their photos, at a mountain overlook named Morgans Steep. I had loaded a victorian styled chair in my truck just for this meeting, so we seated Heath at the overlook and his bride walked up behind him…when he turned and looked at his bride, well it was smiles and tears!
The Wedding ceremony was in the Chapel…. some Chapel! However, I had restricted access during the ceremony (actually I was not allowed in the ceremony) so I shot through the windows in the door! The couple took a carriage ride to the reception for dinner and dancing. We are so thankful that Samatha and Heath allowed us to be a part of their Wedding and we had an great day capturing their day!
