Not only was Joel and Susie’s wedding day charming and romantic, their love story is one that will surely warm your heart. Enjoy these gorgeous images captured by Psalm 27 Creative!
“Susie & Joel’s fall wedding was a lovely, laid-back celebration. Full of so many personal details and touches – it was the perfect mixture of fall beauty and rustic charm (complete with cowboy boots!).
Their story began with a handshake one Sunday afternoon in early 2010. According to one, Susie had Joel at hello… On this Saturday in November, Susie & Joel met back at the location of their first meeting. Rather than a handshake, this time they shared a kiss. Their first as husband and wife.
After swapping her heels for a pair of cowboy boots, and a quick (but romantic) photo session at a nearby farm, the couple headed off to the reception. It was beautiful, charming, and filled with handmade details. The gorgeous fall blooms by Aleen Floral Design were the perfect compliment to the burlap, wood slabs, and homemade apple butter. The bride crafted rope words for the new “Mr” & “Mrs” while the groom built a custom photo booth for guests to enjoy. It was a perfect handcrafted southern soiree!” ~ Mary Clark with Psalm 27 Creative
