Another beautiful Tuesday and another beautiful Real Wedding. Gina of Vanderbilt Legends Club sent this over and I am in love with the decor of this wedding! Those white pumpkin centerpieces are fresh and what a great use of tissue paper pom poms!
From the happy couple: As a couple, we like to think of ourselves as warm, cozy and welcoming. The little things matter most to us. So we wanted to extend those feelings throughout our wedding day to all of our guests. We especially wanted to welcome our “northern” guests to the South in a lovely, elegant way. We decided together on chocolate brown, avocado green and cream as our colors due to their warmth and the season in which the wedding was held. Little DIY details were sprinkled throughout, created by myself, my mother and several loving friends. We had 48 DIY projects in all, examples including: hundreds of tissue pom-poms, two twig chandeliers, pumpkin topiaries, custom guest canvas, handmade drink stirrers and place cards. It was very important to me (a marketing major) to make the entire day a cohesive, pulled together evening, thus we created a gorgeous wedding logo to run throughout the event (with the help of Designs in Paper)! We wanted an evening in which glowing memories were made, and two families were joined…I think we achieved just that!
