What makes something vintage? Well if you are speaking of clothing or a material item of some sort the rule is anything 20 to 100 years old. After 100 years, it’s considered antique. In terms of photography this can mean anything from what the subjects are wearing in the photo, props included in the shot, or the way the photo itself is edited. What makes a wedding inspired by vintage? Any of the above really. You could incorporate mixed vintage china into the table settings, wear a vintage gown, work with a photographer who has a edit style that is very vintage, have your videographer shoot your film in 8 mm. The list goes on and on. We asked our photographers to send in their best vintage shots and Rachel Moore, of Rachel Moore Photography, sent us these beautiful images.
So how do you see vintage? Are you incorporating this concept into your wedding?
