Wish Emily Post had a 24 hour hotline? If you are trying to write your wedding invitation, you do. Well, Emily Post wasn’t available but Jennifer Faught, owner of Something Detailed and invitation expert, will be here on October 6th to answer all of your wedding invitation etiquette questions AND to help you write yours!
The best part is that the workshop is virtually free because the fee you pay to attend can be applied toward your order with Something Detailed. Not only is she the etiquette expert, she is a fabulous invitation and paper designer. Here are two designs from real weddings, but if you want to see more, go here!
Silver, black and white pocket: This silver, black and white pocket invitation has a classic elegance. The paper is a shimmery, crisp white card stock, nested in a silver pocket with the same shimmer. A traditional monogram and fonts are incorporated throughout all the details, with a thick black border around each piece of the wedding invitation suite. What Jennifer loves the most: This traditional color palette comes alive with this beautiful paper and effortless design.
Nashville Skyline: This very “Nashville” invitation combines all the cool colors of this spring’s color palette in vintage style, anchored by deep Monaco blue for a fall wedding. Shades of green, in emerald, jade and tender shoots are paired with shades of blue and soft linen to create a calming color palette for Leigh and Ryan with the new neutrals for spring. A monochromatic color palette can still create contrast. What Jennifer loves the most: The whimsy of this color combo!
