We’re back with all of the details for each of the three wedding inspiration vignettes that were on display in our booth on Sunday. We can’t even begin to count how many of you loved the lace dress with the Nashville Vintage Inspiration or the Bella & Edward Forest Wedding Inspiration chandelier! So here’s what you’ve been waiting for. Complete details on each inspirational vignette and the vendors who made it happen!
First up Soft Nashville Vintage. Vintage can mean so many things to different people so we wanted to put together a look that would be what any vintage Nashville bride would want for her wedding. The details included punched tin cans with tea lights, eyelet lace napkins, vintage platters with wood chargers, vintage inspired silverware, burlap sacks, an antique milking stool, tied ribbon chair, cowboy boots filled with baby’s breath, and of course mason jars.
The stunning wedding dress from The Spoiled Lady was loved by so many of you. It’s such a great dress and could work with so many different styles of weddings. The bridesmaid dress is from Francesca’s Collections. The jewelry is from Stella and Dot Stylist Kim Wright. These pieces are gorgeous and would look great with so many styles. I love that you could even wear them well after the wedding.
Rentals were provided by Southern Events Party Rentals. They’ve got a great selection of unique rentals you won’t find anywhere else and their Vintage Prop Shoppe is full of vintage pieces that will make your wedding stand out from the rest. Whim Wed’s handmade paper and fabric bouquet is the perfect accent for any southern wedding and you’ll enjoy it for years to come. Invitations & Stationery were created by You’re Invited, Ink. I love the simple elegance of the white paper and the lace embossed detail adds that extra special touch to make them truly fitting for this style. Can we stop for a moment to appreciate the calligraphy? I mean hello! It’s what makes your guests rush to open that envelope because they know something spectacular is waiting inside!
Last but not least, the cake. Silver Box Cakes created a timeless and understated design that really captures the soft and romantic feel of this wedding inspiration. Vintage is a huge trend right now so vendors are hearing that word over and over again. Just remember, your idea of vintage may not be the same as another brides so come prepared with examples so you can explain your vintage inspiration.
Next up, our Bella and Edward Forest Wedding Inspiration. Not all of us loved the storyline in Twilight’s Breaking Dawn but the one thing most of us agreed on is that we LOVED Bella and Edward’s forest wedding. This is our interpretation of the wedding. Moss and branches are truly the base of this entire look. We started out with rentals from Southern Events Party Rentals.
Details included a tree bark trough filled with moss that displayed the beautiful bouquet by Reveal Event Style. They also created a hanging branch on the back of the chair that was used to hold escort cards. Bella’s ring, found at Charming Charlies, was used as a napkin ring. Stella and Dot Stylist Kim Wright provided the glam pearl necklace that would have looked perfect on Rosalie. Prim and Paper created a fabulous invitation suite on beautiful metallic paper. The invitation even tied in the hanging wisteria from the wedding arch! For those of you who were swooning over the chandelier, it was made by our very own co-owner, Amy, from supplies found at a local chain craft store. If there’s enough of you interested (email us if you are), we’ll set up a DIY class on how to create it.
A candelabra perched on a slice of wood is a perfect centerpiece. The dresses can be found at The Spoiled Lady and were a perfect complement to the rest of the inspiration. Sweetface Cakes designed the elaborate and beautiful cake. Not only did she bring in the hanging wisteria, but she also added touches of Bella’s lace backed gown and even the pleats from Alice and Rosalie’s dresses!
Finally we have our Tangerine Tango, Pantone’s 2012 Color of the Year, inspiration. This modern take on tangerine and lime is a fresh, crisp look. This would be great for a very modern space or even a destination wedding in a tropical location. We started off with rentals from Southern Events Party Rentals and layered white square china with graphic metallic striped stemware.
Something Detailed created fabulous stationery that perfectly matched a set of coasters we used as a pop of color. They even created some sweet little favor boxes we just couldn’t get enough of! Creative Inspiration layered orange roses and sliced limes to create fresh and unique centerpieces that looked great next to a simple vase full of limes.
Party Pops by Julie created these custom orange, white, and chocolate cake pops that guests are sure to gush over. I adore the elegant swirls topped with a little bit of sparkle.
The Brides dress is once again available at The Spoiled Lady. Mermaid style dresses are still a major trend and this dress is so very elegant with it’s overlay detail. The bridesmaid dress is from Anthropologie. You shouldn’t feel limited to formal wear shops when looking for bridesmaid attire. Think outside the box! The broach on the brides veil and bridesmaids jade pendant are both from Stella and Dot Stylist Kim Wright. We think these accessories really helped set off the modern tropical feel.
