The Fairy Godmother Project of Music City

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo!!! Still to this day I love to watch Cinderella’s fairy godmother turn her tattered dress into an exquisite ballgown.  Who wouldn’t want a fairy godmother who could make dreams come true!  Well, some of Nashville’s young women will get to experience such a dream this Saturday (11-6) at Chappy’s on Church Street.  Fairy Godmothers’  Beth Glascock and Amy Doyle (and Nashville’s very own Thirty Something Bride) have worked tirelessly to bring this event to the Nashville teens.  Just two Saturdays ago, they collected 140 dresses, shoes, and accessories at The Factory.  As of this afternoon, they have over 400 gowns!

The young ladies of Nashville will get to pick from a fantastic selection of gently used or brand new gowns to wear for their 2010 Proms, as well as select accessories including makeup.  What a beautiful cause organized by some beautiful women wanting to grant the wishes of these young women with a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo and a bit of hard work too! 🙂
