Not too long ago we shared a hot new wedding trend that A Magical Affair brought to our attention, Food Trucks. (Check out that post here.) Courtney has done it again and if you were at The Perfect Wedding Guide bridal show last Sunday, you got to see and taste these trends. For those of you who couldn’t make it, I thought you’d want in on the trends too!

First up, Gourmet popsicles! These are a great idea for a summer wedding, WAIT! Who am I kidding, with the unpredictable Middle Tennessee weather, these could be great for a Spring, Summer, and Fall wedding! With flavors like Chocolate Chili Pepper, Rose, AvOcado, Hibiscus, how could you possibly go wrong. At the PWG show, A Magical Affair passed out some of these delicious treats. If you haven’t had the opportunity to have one of these, Nashvillians I suggest you head over to Las Paletas at 2905 12th Ave S. If you’re not in Nashville, these shops are popping up all over the country so be on the look out because you won’t be disappointed. You may in fact, become a regular. There, consider yourself warned. ; )
The other hot trend that appeared in A Magical Affair‘s PWG booth was Paint Your Event. Courtney commissioned Artist Heidi Schwartz to do one of her beautiful live paintings right there at the show. That’s what Paint Your Event is all about. Heidi says that her paintings usually take about three hours. She incorporates the mood, details, and nuances of your event all in a single painting that you and your hubby can enjoy for years to come.

I love the sense of whimsy and play in her work and don’t you know your guests will love watching her paint!
