Friday DIY: Ribbon Wedding Send Off Wands

Oh goodie! Another Friday is here. We’re having a refreshing trip in Asheville, NC. Hubby and I came up for an early 5 year Anniversary trip and we’re having a great time. Way too much good food, beautiful leaves, and the Biltmore. For those of you who haven’t made the trip to Biltmore, it’s totally worth the drive. Sure the house is pretty and the history is fun to learn, but my favorite part is the gardens and grounds. There’s just so much to explore and photograph. Enough about me, on with the DIY!

I love this and since more and more venues are limiting what you can do at a send off, these are the perfect solution!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • 12 inch wooden dowels
  • small bells
  • five feet of ribbon per dowel (remember you can use more than one type of ribbon per wand!)
  • eye screw
  • split ring
  • scissors
  • fray check
  • scotch tape

Head on over to Intimate Weddings for the full photo & text tutorial and come on out to see us in the studio!
