Friday DIY: Nautical Rope Vase

I’m all about some rope right now. Wednesday’s post has it on my brain. In fact, I’m DIYing some rope wrapped or knotted (haven’t decided yet) rope pulls for a little dining room buffet revamp this weekend! While the DIY is technically called ‘Nautical’ I think it also fits in the realm of vintage, rustic, industrial too. Super easy to make and if you save glass jelly, peanut butter, and pickle jars like me… you won’t even have to pay for the vase. Just the rope and glue!

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Rope (thick rope like this can be bought by the foot, I think garden jute twine would also be fabulous)
  • Vase or jar
  • Glue gun & glue sticks
  • Heavy clip or clamp
