A Magical Affair To Be Featured on TLC’s “Say Yes To The Dress: Bridesmaids” Tonight!

If you are a woman between the ages of 10 and 70 you’ve probably not only seen TLC’s “Say Yes to the Dress” but become slightly addicted to the reality series. Who wouldn’t enjoy watching the inner workings of Kleinfeld Bridal– one of New York’s most famous bridal boutiques. With a wide range of seasoned consultants (Randy and Keasha being my personal favorites) and a mixture of every type of bride- from the timid bride to the bridezilla- it’s both intriguing and hilarious with tear-jerking moments sprinkled in.  It’s no wonder that it’s become a show that every woman enjoys watching (some men too, though they may not admit it!).

Because of it’s huge success they have made many other installments of the hit show. “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta” is the southern version of the show that takes place at Bridals by Lori where many of the brides have equal parts southern charm and sass.  They also have “Say Yes to the Dress: Big Bliss”, which takes place in Kleinfelds but solely features their extensive plus size bridal selection. Lastly, TLC runs episodes of “Say Yes to the Dress: Randy Knows Best” where they compile clips from past episodes and get Randy Fenoli’s (Kleinfeld’s sassy fashion director) commentary on past brides.

Say Yes To The Dress: BridesmaidsIf you are now wondering what will be the next member of the “Say Yes to the Dress” family you are in luck because that’s exactly what I was getting at! Tonight  TLC will be premiering “Say Yes to the Dress: Bridesmaids”. It is set in Bridals by Lori (same as “Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta”) and will feature all the drama of trying to find a dress that will please all of a bride’s bridesmaids (while trying to not break the bank)! Some of the consultants we have come to know and love along with several new bold consultants have their hands full trying to get multiple women to “say yes” to the same dress.   If you think brides can be opinionated, wait until you meet these bridesmaids. The show is sure to have drama, humor, unexpected twists, cat fights, and even some heart felt moments. It’s safe to say this show will be up to par with its “Say Yes to the Dress” predecessors and you won’t want to miss an episode! Here’s the teaser reel:

The best part about this new series is that one of our very own Nashville Brides and Event Planners will be featured on the premier episode, tonight at 10/9c !

Tiffany Bryant and Darrik Perry set their wedding date for April 9, 2011 and hired Courtney Hammons, of A Magical Affair, to make all their wedding dreams a reality. Little did they know they would be featured on one of the most popular wedding reality shows ever!

Here’s the story: Long before the wedding day, Tiffany searched high and low for her perfect dress. She had something in mind and just wasn’t able to find it locally. So she did what any SYTTD fan would do and gathered up her girls and headed to Klienfelds in NYC. Tiffany found exactly what she wanted! Months later she received a call from producers of TLC with a invitation to be featured on their upcoming show, SYTTD Bridesmaids. Tiffany gave it a little thought and decided she was up for the experience. She and her bridesmaids headed down to the scheduled taping. They had a great time and found exactly what Tiffany and her bridesmaids were looking for. You’ll have to tune in tonight to see exactly how they settled on their dresses and if there was any drama in the process.

If you are wondering if A Magical Affair really did make their wedding dreams a reality, all you have to do is watch this great moment, the 50 sec mark, captured by John Jordan Films. Not only did Courtney make good on her promise, Tiffany actually cried when she saw how beautiful the reception at Gaylord Springs turned out.
