The Chef and I is a gourmet catering company known for special events and incredible wedding receptions. The company is a preferred event and wedding caterer at over 30 Nashville TN venues and have won awards for innovation in food, service and presentation. The Chef and I is also known for their rehearsal dinners, bridal showers and bachelorette parties. The interactive restaurant is a great venue for these types of events. Tastings at the restaurant are fun and fabulous! Every menu is written specifically for each couple, and everything is cooked from scratch with local fresh ingredients.

Dear Erica and Chris, Now that the “dust has settled” from Ben and Kala’s wedding, I wanted to take this opportunity to write you a short email expressing my effusive thanks for all you all did for the reception. The set up was unique and the food was outstanding!!! Every guest who I talked to raved about the chicken, flank steak and the tilapia. I understand that you used Ben’s recipe for the tilapia and flank steak. I guess that those two are “keepers” for your recipe box. I, myself, loved the chicken and the flank steak (I never got around to tasting the tilapia). The apples and the oven roasted vegetables were my personal favorites. You know that your food was a success by the number of people who went back for seconds, thirds, fourths, etc…!! Your servers made it a point to come by and introduce themselves to me, and anything I needed was quickly provided. They were a pleasure to work with – not only were they extremely competent, they were also unobtrusive when the need arose. I hope that they were pleased with the little extra I gave to Chris for them. They really deserved it. Though I don’t live in Nashville, and I only get there infrequently, I would not hesitate to recommend your food to anyone looking for a caterer in the Nashville area. The Chef and I The best food I’ve ever had at a wedding. Yep, that’s what people are saying about my special day. Our adventure began with a private tasting at their venue known as “The Supper Club.” It is truly a hidden culinary gem in Nashville. Erica, the “I” in “The Chef and I,” is a warm welcoming and perfect host. We sat down and watched as the Chef prepared an array of palate pleasing pleasures. Each dish was visually stunning. The food was a delightful and delicious combination of ingredients that had me eagerly anticipating the next bite. The cuisine was most certainly edible art. Our favorites…all of it! From the prosciutto gnocchi to the filet with crispy oyster mushrooms, every dish deserved a second taste. The only worry I had was whether I would be fitting into my dress because I wanted to eat more. During our celebration, the entire staff was dedicated to making our event a success. Everyone was hardworking, full of smiles and eager to serve. This team has it all. Talent, personality and the drive to make certain each dish they prepared was guaranteed to satisfy. I remember getting ready to walk down the aisle and seeing the incredible presentation the Chef and I had set up. I couldn’t believe how beautiful everything looked and couldn’t stop myself from grabbing a quick taste. The Chef and I made my wedding an event to remember and if what you desire is the best, then look no further.
