I realize that in some parts of the country there are individuals flying down snow covered mountains and enjoying cups of hot chocolate on long winter nights. You see, Christmas is just a few short days away and honestly it doesn’t feel like it should to me! I’m not the only one. My hollyhocks have decided it’s Spring and have re-sprouted! I’ve told them to go back to sleep but they just won’t listen. So in honor of those lucky people who are enjoying the winter the way it’s meant to be, I thought I’d share a few ideas for getting unique stunning flowers in the dead of winter.

First up are these adorable pom pom flowers in vintage labeled bottles. I think these would be stunning for any wedding but especially winter weddings. They are inexpensive, easy to make, and are sure to be remembered. You can even use them to decorate your home once the wedding is over. All you really need is some yarn, hot glue, and a twig. A pom pom maker also comes in handy but you can do it the old fashioned way too. Read more over onPoppyTalk.
