Wedding Timelines: What they are and how they help.

Wedding day timelines are basically a time table of when specific things will take place on your wedding day. These not only help your day to run smooth, they also help keep your vendors and bridal party in the know and on schedule.

So what all does a timeline include. In a nutshell, EVERYTHING. The time you will wake up, the time you will shower, the time you will be a the salon or that hair and makeup will be in your room, the time the flowers will arrive, the time the photographer will arrive, photo times for the bridal party and families, really it includes everything. How does this help your vendors? Well, generally speaking it lets them know what time they are expected and they can also see how full the day is and that there is no time for them to be late. Remember, one late vendor can cause a chain reaction which means you’ll have to cut some time some where else or the ceremony won’t begin on time. You don’t want to make your guests wait, so having a timeline is extremely important. You can also hand these timelines out to your wedding party. This should help to keep them on time as well, which will make your day run so smooth, you might just forget how much planning it took!
