On Saturday, a few brides and a planner joined Wedding 101 to learn how to make these adorable pom poms with Donette of Designs in Paper. Although the task at hand seemed challenging, it turned out to be a fun and “fluffy” DIY project while enjoying cake truffles from Covered with Icing, a new cake vendor joining us this March.
Each of the brides shared their wedding color scheme with us so that the pom poms they made could be used in their event design/decor. As you can see in this picture, there are going to be some beautiful weddings in 2010!Want to try it on your own? Donette gave the girls a little cheat sheet seen below if you would like to DIY this project for your wedding or any other event needing a splash of color. (Trust me when I say that the second one will be better than the first!) Still need a little help? Contact Donette at info@designsinpaper.com.
We will definitely offer this class again to brides and anyone else who wants to learn how to make these adorable design accents. Three Cheers to the Pom Pom Class and thank you Designs in Paper!
