We were excited that Shana wanted to share her blog post about her wedding with us. We loved getting to know her as one of the top four finalists for the Her Nashville/Wedding 101 Ultimate Wedding Giveaway. Shana and her fiance Casey did not win the giveaway, but still had an ultimate wedding with the people that loved them. Moreso, their wedding solidifies that a wedding is still about the two people vowing before God their faithfulness to love one another forever. Sealing it with love’s first kiss!
Shana Speaks:
On March 26, 2010 I was united with the love of my life, my perfect match, my best friend, my lifetime boyfriend, my groom, my prince, my lover, and now my husband, Casey Bresnahan.
The day could not have been more perfect. Storms were in the forecast for that Friday, but God decided to let it pour (and hail) on Thursday so that the skies would be clear on our wedding day. On a side note, I had prayed for a beautiful day for at least a month and I know of many others that were praying along with me. I never once doubted that God would answer that prayer. The church staff even tried to have us move the wedding inside on Thursday night, but we trusted and God answered.
