Today’s nashville real wedding took place on New Year’s Eve and is probably one of the sweetest weddings I’ve seen in a while! Psalm 27 Creative captured this sweet couple’s intimate celebrations, and I know you’ll love these images as much as I do… Enjoy!
“It was such a joy and honor to photograph Kerri & David’s New Year’s Eve wedding in downtown Nashville. This couple is an absolute delight to be around, as is their family. While they were getting ready, I asked their girls to tell me a little about them. The first thing they said was, “They kiss…a LOT.” And that was most certainly true. We should have kept a running tally, but I think we would have lost count anyways. If there is ever a time to kiss – it’s your wedding day! It was perfect.
When we started taking pictures, it was instantaneously clear how much they love each other. They are completely smitten! It is an amazing thing to get to capture two people who are this in love. Their laughter and joy was absolutely contagious. There was no posing or staging necessary. They were just completely themselves. And it was beautiful.
The wedding ceremony and reception took place in the historic carriage house at Husk in downtown Nashville. Despite the crowds and festivities mounting just blocks away, this served as the perfect haven for a small, intimate, candlelit celebration. The gorgeous floral arrangements in the space were created by Tim Riffel. And a close friend of David’s officiated the ceremony, adding another warm, personal touch to the evening. Following the ceremony, family and friends enjoyed food and fellowship around the table, with a menu chosen by chef Sean Brock of Husk. (Needless to say, eating at Husk is now on our bucket list!)
We hope you’ll enjoy this sneak peek from David & Kerri’s intimate New Year’s eve wedding in downtown Nashville!” ~ Mary Clark, with Psalm 27 Creative
