Another Friday and another weekend of working on our house. I think we’ll focus on the outside but you never know, we may just change our minds. This weekend get some planning done or not. No one said you couldn’t take a weekend off. Planning can be stressful, as we all know all too well, but remember to take time for yourself and your hubby to be.

I love the look of these paper crane backdrops. Their simplicity is striking and when hung in garlands they make a big statement for a little cost. They are easy to make and you can do fold while watching your favorite shows. Consider using printed paper in your wedding colors for a fun twist or ombre them since that seems to be everywhere right now.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Origami paper (find it in your local craft or art store, or online)
- Needle
- Fishing line
- Hooks, wire, or even paper clips to hang the garlands
