We hope you all had a fabulous Thanksgiving full of friends, family, and fellowship. Did any of you score any major deals shopping at Midnight on Black Friday? I chose to stay in and recuperate from the 35+ guests that arrived at my home for our very first Thanksgiving meal at our house. It was a lot to undertake but we had a wonderful time an our guest really enjoyed seeing the house. We’re remodeling so it changes all the time. Anyway, today I am sharing a great DIY. Simply save up your glass bottles or even find a bar willing to save their bottles for you and make these beautiful hurricanes or glass vases! I love the curated feel they give any event!

Centsational Girl has a great tutorial using a glass bottle cutter found at any craft store.

Here’s what you’ll need:
- Glass bottles
- Bottle cutter (About $45. Don’t forget to grab a coupon before you head out. Many craft stores have 40% or 50% coupons every week!)
- Candle with matches/lighter OR heat the crack with hot water then cool it fast with cold if you want to avoid the whole fire aspect.
- Safety Equipment: Goggles, Gloves, and Fire Extinguisher)
Head on over to Centsational Girl to see how it’s done and we hope you continue to have a wonderful holiday weekend!
Don’t forget, today is Shop Local Saturday. Be sure to make a purchase at a local business today to support small businesses. Check out our FB page to find Wedding vendors who are also participating today with some awesome specials!
