This week’s vendor spotlight gives you an exclusive look at one of our very talented invitation and paper goods suppliers, Olive Juice Press. Owner Anna Brown, took a few moments to speak with us about her passion for the perfect wedding invite, as well as a look into her creative side.

1. What made you get started in the wedding industry?
o When I was a bride myself, I became very interested in the creative and
artistic parts of a wedding. I ended up creating my own wedding invitations
and after spending a lot of happy moments doing so, I knew this was
where I wanted to go with my future.
2. What do you like most about working weddings?
o I like discovering other people who have a similar taste, vision, and
passion as me. I work with many brides with different styles but my
favorites are the ones who are very passionate about paper goods!
3. What’s the best advice you can give to a bride?
o Many brides feel so much pressure from other people during a time that
should be enjoyable, fun, and special! My best advice would be to respect
the opinions of your family members but remember the most important
part about your wedding is the person you are entering into a marriage
with! When I look back on my own wedding day, the most memorable
parts are the special moments I spent with my husband.
4. What’s your favorite thing to do when you’re not busy with work?
o When I am not busy with work, I love to spend time with my dogs! I also
like to paint and practice calligraphy and hand-lettering.
5. What’s your favorite food, animal, and color? Why?!
o My favorite food is Italian Margherita Pizza! I visited Italy when I was in
college and I have not tasted anything as good since then. When I am
craving it, I go to Bella Napoli in Edgehill Village! It’s like being in Italy all
over again.
o My favorite animals are dogs! I have a golden retriever and a german
shepherd who make my life interesting. I love the unconditional love
they give me.
o My favorite color is green. I spend a lot of time looking at colors in my
job and the ones that inspire me the most always come from nature.
